Tasted this today, Macallan are conning folk with this dram. No way is it a £100 bottle. Flippers paradise, feel for anyone who's paid over the odds. |

I had picked up 2 bottles from the airport without tasting, I am a Macallan fan and planned to drink one and save one to drink in the future but after getting through a bottle I would agree it was not a brilliant expression of the Macallan so I decided to sell the other on as I am having a clear out. I got £130 for it including the cost of postage which I thought was fair. I am not a flipper and I bought the Macallan Concept hoping it would be good, but as I said it was not brilliant. The Macallan are very clever the way these bottles come to market, there are never any reviews until the whiskies are sold out. Don't get me wrong I couldn't fault the Concept just not a £100 worth of good whisky (at least for my taste) but if you don't pay the price you will not know that until it is too late and the prices are crazy..
Oh and just to be clear I am certainly not a flipper and thought I sold this at a reasonable price giving another whisky drinker a chance to taste it |

£130 including postage was very reasonable, I would have had it off you for that price to try it myself. |

£420.... unbelievable?!
If anyone is looking for a bottle(s), I can buy it on any Monday at Edinburgh airport and can arrange a meeting in London (Stratford) in the week or end of week in Perth. I'll take £130 if that's reasonable asking price for getting one. Im flying Edi to London for the next few weeks. |

Plenty of the Macallan Concept when I was passing through Glasgow airport World of Whiskies today, £100 a bottle. I actually tasted it passing through the airport a few weeks ago and wasn't inspired enough to want a whole bottle to drink. Just thought I would mention it _________________ There's no bad whisky. Just good whisky and better whisky. |
