BenRiach new Batch 12 Single Casks Bottling

Finally here they are - nine selected casks for new Benriach Batch 12 single cask bottling:

- 1976 cask #541, 48.8%, 38yo, Bourbon Barrel, Peated

- 1979 cask #517, 46.9%, 35yo, Bourbon Barrel, Peated

- 1985 cask #10318, 49.0%, 29yo, Bourbon Barrel, Peated

- 1987 cask #3825, 52.9%, 27yo, Port Hogshead, Tawny Port Finish

- 1990 cask #4936, 50.4%, 25yo, Bourbon Barrel, Classic Speyside

- 1995 cask #74743, 58.9%, 20yo, Bourbon Barrel, Classic Speyside

- 1998 cask #6394, 57.5%, 17yo,Triple Distilled/ Pedro Ximenez Sherry Finish

- 1999 cask #8687, 56.1%, 15yo, Oloroso Sherry Finish

- 2000 cask #69116, 56.3%, 14yo, Bourbon Barrel, Classic Speyside

They were bottled at the end of June and should be released in next few days (probably they were waiting to the end of summer season). I'm not sure if this is the whole list because last year they bottled 14 casks.

As prices for single cask bottlings from Glendronach and Benriach are steadily rising I will get just few this time; probably only 1990 #4936/25yo, 1995 #74743/20yo and 1998 #6394/17yo.

With retailers now or at least online. Was interested in the triple distilled cask till they finished it in a sherry cask.

Today I heard that there is a problem with all the packaging for the new Benriach Batch 12. This will result in a 2-3 week delay of them being released.
