Hi i noticed you hadnt got a reply so here is the little that i know about Bells Decanters.

They were first produced in the 1930s and since 1988 a decanter has been produced each Christmas. The most collectable is said to be the Charles and Diana decanter commemorating their marriage in 1981, which has sold for as much as £2500.

You will find quite a few listed on this site:
http://www.scotchmaltwhisky.co.uk/shop/products/Bells-Decanters.htm

If you dont find one similar to the one you have you can also have a look at The Whisky Exchange they usually have quite a few.

Unless the decanter you have was produced to mark a specific event other than Christmas or it is just a plain decanter it tends not to be that valuable. Special event decanters tend to be worth more.

I dont know if this will help trying to age the decanter you have:
Quote:
In the UK up until 1980 standard size bottles were 26 2/3 fl ozs, they then changed to 750ml in 1980. About 1991/1992 the EEC (or EU as they call it now) changed the standard size from 750ml to 700ml.

Hope i have been of some help..
