Inspired by Quaich's picture of the geese on Islay I thought it may be fun to create a thread for posting pictures of distilleries or the areas that surround a distillery. Although in some cases distilleries themselves are not always particular pretty the surrounding countryside usually is and its nice to see the landscape that has given birth to some of our favourite malts.
Here is a picture of sandend beach which sits just below Glenglassaugh taken on Christmas day.

Nice shot and creative thread of "areas that surround a distillery". Well done! _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

Thanks! I thought it could be fun and it may encourage us to visit places/distilleries we may not have done otherwise. |
