Anyone in the Ayrshire or Glasgow area may be interested in this event, it is organised by Robbies Drams Whisky Shop in Ayr:
Whisky An' A' That V will be held on Saturday 17th May at Ayr Town Hall. This will be the fifth event, and it just seems to get bigger and better every year. I attended last years event which was held in Ayr library and was a very enjoyable afternoon. This years event is in a bigger venue and it looks like they have more whisky companies than last year. Anyway, here are the details of the event which i received from Robbies Drams:

I was at last years Whisky An' A' That event and can recommend it. Whisky with a Rabbie Burns theme, a great day out. The event is actually part of a bigger event "Burns An' A' That " so there should be a lot happening during this weekend in Ayr. I had a look at the Burns Festival website http://burns.visitscotland.com/festival/ but they havent posted the full list of events yet.

I see from the Robbies Drams site that whisky author John Lamond will be opening this years festival and will also be signing copies of his latest whisky book The Malt Whisky File (4th Edition) which he co- wrote with Robin Tucek.
Just a thought bit I wonder why they do not make the tickets available to purchase online instead of emailing and waitng for a return call. Surely they could make it an item which you could add to your basket in their online shop.
