This is what everyone is paying for, sorry if its already been mentioned.

House Tully: Singleton of Glendullan - Singleton 12 y/o
House Stark: Dalwhinnie Winter's Frost - Dalwhinnie Winter's Gold NAS
House Targaryen: Cardhu Gold Reserve - standard NAS release
House Lannister: Lagavulin 9 year old suggested to not be as good as 8 y/o but probably best of the bunch)
House Baratheon: Royal Lochnagar 12 year old
House Tyrell: Clynelish Reserve (possibly 14 y/o but no guarantee)
The Night's Watch: Oban Bay Reserve - Oban Little Bay NAS )
White Walker: Johnnie Walker - most reviews peg it below JW Red.

The comments on a few are not mine as I have not tried them but it may be useful for someone?
In essence roughly 300 euro worth of whisky so about £257 or $335 worth of whisky.

The biggest scam in modern day whisky. So many people flipping, so many idiots buying (must be far flung places with no access)

I'm seeing so many sets on my Facebook feed up for sale I actually hate the sight of the bottles.

None of these were intended for drinking, the business saw an opening and took it, they have basically re packaged bog standard supermarket whisky and put a premium on it.
It is a huge show with many fans who would like a set.
The biggest talking point is what people are asking for them on the secondary market, if people do start drinking them prices will drop like a stone because average scores for them on numerous websites are pretty poor ( for the standard bottles of whisky)

It's the best marketing scam since whatever Douglas Laing's last ruse was.

Scam yes it is, it's clearly deception.
Slight edit to name, bottle existing product, different package, higher price. Great advertising, all for financial gain.

A scam is not defined solely be legality, a scam can be legal when its deception.

Winters Frost? Is this really worth £12 more per bottle, Winters Gold can be sourced as low as £20, so £48 for this edition, ouch. But I assume there must be some variation of the two, a spoonful of their leaking casks perharps.
Oban Bay Reserve @ £65 Why is this £11 more than Oban Little Bay, is it the same or is it a better whisky?
Cardhu Gold Reseve is a £15 to 25 more expensive per bottle in this release.

They are targetting fans of a tv show to shift 1000 of units, not all people will be interested or familiar in the contents.

Has anybody actually tried them side by side, I do agree some of them seem a bit too close to some of the standard range products (like the lochnagar 12 which is only available in europe), but laga 9 is new a'd the Oban GOT is bottled at 52% if im not mistaken.
