I'm just now starting to explore bourbon. As an American, you'd think I'd have more experience with it, and I think I may have tried it years ago, before I acquired a taste for whiskey.
I have a limited selection nearby, and I just tried Maker's Mark and Jim Beam Devil's Cut. I don't prefer either one to a good (more than twice the price) single malt Scotch, but at the price, I am definitely impressed. I liked them both, even though they are very different from one another. I'm looking forward to trying some more when I find a better selection. |
