Isle of Arran whisky have announced the
fourth and final bottling bottling in
there popular Icons of Arran series, The
Eagle.
Yes, the Eagle has finally landed at the
Isle of Arran Distillery. The pair of
Golden Eagles, who nest in the mountains
above Lochranza, have been an integral
part of the Arran story since the
Distillery was built in 1995 and feature
on every bottle of The Arran Malt.
This much anticipated final release from
the Icons Series is a 1999 distillation
which was drawn from a combination of 14
ex-Bourbon Barrels and 7 ex-Sherry
Hogshead barrels specially selected by
Arran Distillery Manager, James MacTaggart. The Eagle is spectacular,
powerful and yet graceful just like the
Birds of Prey themselves.
The Icons of Arran The Eagle is a
limited edition of 6000 bottles
worldwide, bottled at 46% it is
non-chill filtered with no added
colouring, just how we like it.
