Thieves or thief get away with seven
bottles of whisky with a value of
£14,000 from the Tullibardine distillery
shop.

Between 5pm Saturday, September 17
and 9.25am on Sunday, September 18 the
Tullibardine Distillery shop on Stirling
Street in Blackford, Perth and Kinross was broken into and
seven bottles of whisky were taken
including a rare bottle of Tullibardine
worth £12,000.
The total value of the seven bottle haul
taken from the distillery shop is worth
around £14,000 and there was two glasses
taken also, but I don't have any details
about which expressions of Tullibardine
were taken.
Police want to trace a man seen walking
with two bags near the A9 at Blackford
at about 21:55 on Saturday.
He was described as between 25 and 35
years old, of medium build, and was
wearing a red top, light-coloured shorts
and worker boots.
Will this whisky ever be seen again or
has someone walked away with a very
expensive Saturday night carry out?
After all they did also take two glasses
to drink it with.
If you are offered a £12,000 bottle of
Tullibardine cheap or you have any
information that could assist officers
you are asked to contact
Police Scotland on 101.
Alternatively information can be passed
anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers
on 0800 555 111.
