Talisker 40
year old Amontillado Sherry finish, the
first release in the new Bodega Series.
The Talisker Bodega Series is a new
and exclusive series of Single Malt
releases which celebrates age-old sherry
relationships dating as far back as the
1900s and will offer a taste of historic
wineries of the renowned Sherry
Triangle, where Talisker once sourced
its casks.
The new series launches this June with a
Talisker 40 Year Old single malt which
was matured in refill casks and then
finished in Bodega Delgado Zuleta Sherry
casks which had previously held 40 year
old Amontillado Sherry.

Ambassador, commented on the new whisky
saying: "This Talisker 40 Year Old, is
an exquisite Single Malt Scotch Whisky
which captures the age-old relationships
with Delgado Zuleta and the high quality
craftsmanship which took place
throughout the creation of this rare
expression. We are delighted to launch
this as the first of the Bodega series
and the liquid is something that we are
extremely proud of."
There will be further releases of the
Bodega Series, each finished in
different sherry casks, this first
release in the series, the Talisker 40
Year Old, has a RRP of £2,750 and will launch in late June 2018
with 2,000 bottles and will be available from specialist online whisky retailers such as The Whisky Exchange
