816 bottles
of Redbreast Dream Cask 32 Year Old sold
out in just six hours.

If you managed to get hold of a
bottle of
Redbreast Dream Cask 32 Year Old
when it was launched exclusively to
members of Redbreast's online whisky
club 'The Birdhouse' on Saturday
afternoon then you were one of the lucky
ones.
Irish Distillers, makers of Redbreast
has confirmed that the stunning sherried
limited edition, 32 Year Old Single Pot
Still Irish whiskey, Redbreast Dream
Cask, has sold out. Launched exclusively
through The Redbreast Birdhouse, at
4.00pm on 19th May – World Whisky Day –
all 816 bottles of Redbreast Dream Cask
were sold by 10.30pm, at an incredible
rate of more than two bottles per minute
for such a premium whiskey.
At €500 per bottle I doubt there are
many brands of whisky in the world that
could have sold 816 bottles this quickly
which is testament to the popularity of
Irish whiskey and in particular the
quality of whiskey Redbreast is turning
out and having tasted the Redbreast
Dream Cask 32 year old myself I can say
that it is simply stunning from nose to
finish, an absolutely delicious mature
sherried Irish Pot Still whiskey and I
doubt many like this will come along in
a lifetime.
If you were not lucky enough to get hold
of a bottle all is not lost as Irish
Distillers have told me that this was
just the first in a new series of
limited edition Redbreast Irish whiskeys
planned for the coming years, that will
be sold exclusively through The
Redbreast Birdhouse.
Of course you do not need to wait for
the next special release from Redbreast,
they have a superb core range to explore
which you will find available from
specialist online whisky retailers such as The Whisky Exchange
and
Master of
Malt
