Pulteney has announced the release of
Old Pulteney 1997 Single Cask No. 1082, a
20 Year Old single malt Scotch whisky
available as an airport exclusive in
partnership with Dufry Group for their
World Duty Free operated World of
Whiskies shop at Edinburgh International
Airport.
Old Pulteney 1997, Single Cask No. 1082,
an American oak ex-Bourbon barrel,
produced only 204 bottles whisky
launched exclusively at Edinburgh
airport on the 5th of September.
Travellers will be able to see the
actual barrel on display, look out for
it just after security and if you are
interested in purchasing the Edinburgh
airport exclusive bottling you will be
able to sample the new whisky along with
the other Old Pulteney travel retail
offerings at the
World of Whiskies shop at Edinburgh
International Airport.
The specially handpicked whisky is
non-chill filtered and is offered in
70cl individually numbered bottles at a natural cask strength
of 50.2% ABV. Retailing at £198.00, this
expression is sure to catch the eye of
any whisky aficionado travelling through
Edinburgh.
Every one of more than one million
anticipated travellers must walk past
the barrel display from September 5th
through October 2nd or while supplies
last.
