Old Forester whisky tasting at The Whisky Shop Piccadilly on the 7th December.

I thought I would give this a quick mention for those of you in or around London on the 7th December. Old Forester Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky is partnering with The Whisky Shop's flagship Piccadilly London store to offer shoppers a unique opportunity to meet the Old Forester Brand President, Campbell Brown. Through an exclusive tasting, shoppers will have the chance to meet the great great grandson of the brand’s founder – George Garvin Brown – whose signature remains on the bottle today.

Guests will be welcomed to The Whisky Shop’s flagship store in Piccadilly on 7th December with the brand’s signature serve, the Whisky Smash. Old Forester’s Master Bourbon Specialist – Jacquelyn Zykan – will join Campbell and, together, they will take guests on a journey of the whisky’s unique history. As the only bourbon to be bottled pre, during and post prohibition, the tasting is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to discover this special whisky and learn about its heritage, which is as rich as its taste.

With the increasing popularity of Bourbon whisky, whisky drinkers are now beginning to seek out the different Bourbon brands and Old Forester is a brand which seems to be catching the attention of whisky critics and has picked up some very good reviews so if you are a fan of the spicy, vanilla'd Bourbon style of whisky and will be in the Piccadilly area on the 7th of December then you may enjoy a visit to The Whisky Shop.
