Circle movie launches today in

 Following
on from the GlenDronach distillery's
collaboration with the new Kingsman The
Golden Circle movie where the Speyside
distillery marked the release of the
movie with the premium
GlenDronach Kingsman Edition 1991
Vintage single malt whisky it is
now the turn of our American whiskey
cousins, Old Forester to step into the
Hollywood limelight.
To coincide with the general release in
cinemas of the
Kingsman: The Golden Circle movie today,
Old Forester Kentucky Bourbon has
released a new straight bourbon whiskey,
named Old Forester Statesman, which
plays an integral role in director Matthew
Vaughn's 20th Century Fox film "Kingsman
The Golden Circle", Old Forester
Statesman will also be available for all
you film and bourbon fans to enjoy from
today.
In "Kingsman: The Golden Circle," our
heroes face a new challenge when their
headquarters are destroyed and the world
is held hostage. Their journey leads
them to the discovery of an allied spy
organisation in the U.S. called
Statesman, dating back to the day they
were both founded. The Statesman, based
in Louisville, Kentucky, act as Master
Distillers to hide their true identity.
In a new adventure that tests their
agents' strength and wits to the limit,
these two elite secret organizations
band together to defeat a ruthless
common enemy, in order to save the
world, something that's becoming a bit
of a habit for Eggsy. The sequel to
"Kingsman: The Secret Service,"
"Kingsman: The Golden Circle" is
directed by Matthew Vaughn and stars
original cast members Colin Firth, Taron
Egerton and Mark Strong, and introduces
new cast members Jeff Bridges, Channing
Tatum, Pedro Pascal, Halle Berry and
Julianne Moore.
Old Forester say that they chose a
unique taste profile when selecting the
Statesman bourbon specifically for the
film. Taking inspiration from the
dynamic characters, Old Forester
Statesman offers bold flavour blended to
a smooth 95 proof (47.5% ABV), resulting
in an exceptional balance of heat and
spice.
Old Forester Statesman Whiskey is
produced at the Brown-Foreman Distillery
in Louisville, Kentucky with the same
mash bill as Old Forester and will be

Nose: Devil's food, clove and oak
spice with an undercurrent of raw
vanilla.
Taste: Buttery leather is quickly
dominated by a bold flash of pepper,
cinnamon bark and sharp citrus.
Finish: Intense spice and
eucalyptus which fade into orange cream
and caramel.
