The Greenore 18 Year old is the latest
small batch bottling of Greenore Single
Grain Irish whiskey from the Cooley
Distillery.
This latest release in the award winning
Greenore family follows the highly
successful Greenore 15 year old which
was recently named the Worlds Best
Single Grain Whiskey for the third
consecutive year at the World Whiskies
Awards in London.
The Greenore 18 year old is a limited
edition of only 4000 bottles which were
bottled at 46% Abv. The 18 Year old
continues the Greenore journey of taste
and discovery showcasing how extra years
in American oak casks impart further
depth and flavour to Cooley’s award
winning grain whiskey.
Cooley Distillery is Ireland’s only
independent Irish whiskey distiller and
the first new Irish whiskey distillery
to open in over 100 years. With a vision
to revive many of the historical brands
and distilling techniques of Irish
whiskey, Cooley has developed a
portfolio of award winning whiskeys,
including the Greenore Family of Single
Grain Irish Whiskeys.
Being the only independent Irish whiskey
distillery, Cooley has strived to expand
the Irish whiskey category and in
particular has been the driving force
behind the emergence of Single Grain
Irish Whiskeys. These efforts have been
richly rewarded with Cooley winning over
300 international awards for their
whiskeys and recently being awarded the
top industry accolade of “Distillery of
the Year” by Malt Advocate Magazine, and
for the 3rd consecutive year in a row,
Cooley Distillery was awarded the 2010
European Distillery of the Year by the
IWSC.
For three years running now, Greenore 15
Year Old single grain has been awarded
the "World’s Best Single Grain Whiskey"
at the World Whiskey awards in 2009,
2010 & 2011.
