Glenfarclas
Family Cask Trunk is a collection of
every vintage in this incredibly popular
whisky series which has been released to
date and it will set you back a cool
£100,000

Following on from their incredibly
popular Family Cask Collection, The
Glenfarclas distillery has unveiled The
Glenfarclas Family Cask Trunk which
contains every single vintage from 1954
to 2003.
The unique collection of fifty 200ml
bottles, one from each year from 1954 to
2003, are presented in a custom made
trunk which resembles a contemporary
interpretation of a traditional shipping
trunk.
To
compliment the incredible 50 bottle set, the trunk also
contains 4 bespoke tumblers, 4 nosing
glasses and a water jug, all crafted
from the finest crystal by renowned
Scottish glass manufacturer Glencairn
Crystal. There are also 4 slate
coasters, 3 hand printed and bound
leather books - one containing the
history of the distillery, another with
George Granty's tasting note for each
vintage in the collection and the third
book is destined to be filled in by the
lucky buyer's own tasting notes. There
is also a replica of the oldest known
painting of the Glenfarclas distillery,
the original, from 1791, now hangs in
the Glenfarclas Private Dining Room.
George Grant, Sales Director and 6th
generation of the Grant family, owners
of the Glenfarclas distillery since 1865
commented on the Glenfarclas Family Cask
Trunk, saying:
"This is is a once in a lifetime
opportunity to buy a full collection of
vintages in a full set. It is the first
- and last - chance to purchase this, as
some of the vintages contained in the
trunk are from the last casks of their
respective years. We are thrilled to
bring this ambitious project to
fruition, one which could only be
realised due to my grandfather's
foresight in laying down casks as far
back as the 1950's"
As you can imagine this will be a very
limited release and you will certainly
need deep pockets to get hold of it,
there will be only 60 Glenfarclas Family
Cask Trunks available worldwide with a
RRP of £100,000 and you will find them available from specialist online
whisky retailers such as
The Whisky Exchange and
