Just Whisky
auctions rare Buffalo Trace Sixth
Millionth Barrel Bottle in aid of UK
charity, Breast Friends and Family.

Independent, American whiskey
distillers Buffalo Trace recently
released the sixth millionth barrel of
its multi award winning bourbon -
Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Whiskey – from which 400 bottles have
been filled and donated to a variety of
charities and causes across the States
to auction off and help raise funds.
However, one lucky bottle has made its
way to the UK and online whisky
auctioneers, Just Whisky have added it
to their October auction with all
proceeds being donated to UK charity,
Breast Friends and Family, a charity
which supports patients through a breast
cancer diagnosis, treatment and
recovery, providing the little things
that the NHS are not in a position to,
that will make a difference to patients
and how they feel about themselves.
Aged for 10 years 11 months, the 375ml
bottles have been packaged in a
commemorative hardwood display box that
is individually numbered. It includes a
handwritten description on the glass
door, a piece of the charred oak stave
from the barrel, and a small brochure
explaining the significance of this
collector’s edition.
Commenting on this extremely special
bourbon in the auction, Graham Crane,
Co-founder of Just Whisky said: "It is
an absolute honour to have been asked by
the charity to support their fundraising
efforts with the auction of this rare
bottle of Buffalo Trace. The whisky has
no reserve price, but we really hope to
generate somewhere closer to £1,000 for
the charity. This is a unique whiskey
that wouldn’t typically find its way to
the UK and it will potentially be
another nine years until the 7th
millionth barrel is available, so we
hope this will generate wide interest
with whiskey lovers and collectors
across the UK, Europe and Asia too."
The October auction is now live and bids
will take place up until Sunday 20th
October 2019. To place a bid visit www.just-whisky.co.uk
