Arran release
17 year old limited edition, the 2nd
bottle in the trilogy.
 Arran
whisky have announced their first new
release of 2014, a limited edition Arran
17 year old. This limited edition of 9,000
bottles worldwide follows last years
release of the Arran 16 year old. This is
the 2nd release in the trilogy which
will eventually lead to an official
bottling of Arran 18 year old joining
the Arran core range of whiskies in spring 2015.
This Arran 17 year edition was 100%
sherry cask matured and should be
available from specialist whisky shops
from the end of March 2014.
Arran 17 Year Old Tasting Notes
Producer's Tasting Notes:
Colour:
Antique Gold with copper highlights.
Nose:
Rich, warm spices with notes of candied
citrus peel, tinned mandarins and golden
syrup. The classic Arran orchard notes
of red apple are there with a luxurious
layer of honey.
Taste:
Plenty of sweet spice with cigar
tobacco. A splash of water reveals dark
chocolate and orange oil adding depth to
this decadent dram.
Finish:
The warmth of the spice lingers on with
the classic Sherry wood character coming
to the fore, and slightest puff of
bonfire smoke in the tail. The Arran
Malt; sophisticated at seventeen.

Devil's Punchbowl Trilogy which is
expected to be released at the end of
June 2014. Will it be a heavenly
end to this Devilish Trilogy, we will
