Arran
have just released a magnificent new
addition to their core range of single
malt whisky, The Arran 12 year old Cask
Strength Edition.
The Arran 12 year old Cask Strength is a
batch release with this, their first
batch being bottled at the end of
September 2011. Batch 1 consists of
12,000 bottles for distribution
worldwide. It is bottled at natural cask
strength of 54.1%.
It is non chill-filtered with no
artificial colouring and is contains a
combination of First and Second Fill
Sherry Hogsheads casks.
The influence of the Sherry Casks does
not overpower the classic Arran
characteristics but rather integrates
with them perfectly to create a rich and
powerful new edition of The Arran Malt.
Whilst this whisky can be sampled at
full strength, why not try it with a few
drops of water to release the full range
of aromas and flavours. As is the nature
of single malt whisky small batch
releases, each batch of the Arran 12
year old Cask Strength will vary in
terms of style and we trust you will
enjoy savouring each new edition as and
when they are released.
