Distillery unveil 1770 Signature Range
which launches with the new 1770 Glasgow
2019 Release and will be followed later
in the year by two new expressions, the
1770 Peated and 1770 Triple Distilled.
Glasgow Distillery has unveiled three
new forthcoming expressions which will
collectively form the 1770 Glasgow
Signature Range.
The first whisky to come available in
the 1770 Glasgow Signature range is not a new whisky,
it is the second release of their 1770
Single Malt Scotch Whisky, this 1770
Glasgow 2019 Release follows the highly
successful ‘sold-out’ first release in
2018. Matured in first fill ex-bourbon
casks and then finished in virgin oak it
has been bottled at 46% ABV and is non
chill-filtered. Described by the
producers as as smooth, fruity and
complex, it is presented in a 50cl
bottle and has a RRP of £49. The 1770
Glasgow 2019 Release is now available to
pre-order from the Glasgow Distillery
website with shipping scheduled for
April.
Later this year the 1770 Glasgow 2019
Release will be joined by two new
expressions, the 1770 Peated which has
matured in ex-sherry butts and finished
in virgin oak and the 1770 Triple
Distilled which has matured in first
fill American ex-bourbon casks
collectively all three whiskies together
will form the 1770 Glasgow Signature
Range.

be able to bring the 2019 Release to the
market.

I will update you when I have more info
on the new 1770 Peated and 1770 Triple Distilled
expressions, and when they will be
available, meanwhile as I said above the
1770 Glasgow 2019 Release is now
available to pre-order direct from the
Glasgow Distillery website for dispatch
in April.
