#youranCnoc Day Competition - And The Winner Is

anCnoc announce the winners of the #youranCnoc Day competition.

On Monday June 17th anCnoc whisky fans from around the world took to Twitter to share their perfect dram drinking moments with the anCnoc in a unique one-day #youranCnoc money cant buy whisky competition.

From the numerous entries which included a roaring campfire, through to a serene lighthouse scene to joking with friends – acclaimed international illustrator Peter Arkle chose his 10 most inspiring images from the scores which were entered on June 17th.

These 10 images have now been illustrated by Peter and will be transposed onto truly personalised bottle labels and tubes for the winners.

Scots born Peter, who is based in New York, has worked on a number of Limited Editions for the brand. He said:

"All the entries we received were fantastic – it was so interesting to see all the different ways that people summed up their perfect anCnoc moments. Whittling the finalists down to 10 was no easy feat but this group of entries really inspired me to do some fun, bespoke illustrations."

Zachary Briggs’ entry of a picture he summed up as "warm summers; maritime winters; sea spray, granite shores and lobster sheds" was chosen as the overall winner. Zachary, of Halifax, Canada, has won a four-day trip for two to New York to collect his personalised bottle from Peter.

Each of the winners will also receive a bottle of the latest anCnoc Peter Arkle Limited Edition. The latest release, which features an illustration depicting the brick work at the Knockdhu Distillery, is filled with a liquid which has anCnoc’s signature honey and lemon smell and has a spicy taste with notes of citrus, sherry and dark chocolate.

Limited to only 1000 cases, this Limited Edition will be available online and through specialist retailers in the UK as well as across the globe in the USA, Germany, Russia, Japan, Taiwan and Canada.
