I havent tried it, i saw William had wrote a piece on it last month https://www.scotchmaltwhisky.co.uk/glenmorangietriplecaskreserve.htm
I agree with him we could do with more decent drams at a decent price and as he says in his article it will likely be on offer at some point. I see it is now appearing in Sainsburys stores but i will wait on an offer before taking the plunge myself. I am sick of the fake price mark ups so they can then have have huge discounts. |

I saw Williams post on it the other week and have since spotted it in my Sainsbury's but not tried it, probably pick a bottle up for dramming over the summer if I hear it is good. |

So I tried this glenmorangie triple cask, the nose is a delight for me , fruity smooth, almost custardy, pear is present, the spice is running through this malt, nice nose,, the taste brings more of the same with orange and ceme brûlée, I wouldn't have picked that note up a few years ago as I'd never had it before but love it now , not a fan of clove and that's ere also, spicy through this whisky but not over powering, this is a treat for the £25 that you must get it at, mouthfeel is also a plus, so is this better than the X? In my opinion yes , it's similar but better, would I buy another at xmas if it's still about ! Hell yes, so at £25 and 40% it's not that bad , a higher volume would be great .. |

Just a bit more info on this whisky, as always give this whisky a few minutes to open up, today 2nd glass the spices seemed to hit me more and I'm sure I'm getting fudge today and less of the creme brûlée but that may just be me , with a few drops of water it changes but minimal, neat is my preference,, anyway there you go, be interesting to see others opinions when they try ,, |

Had a few pours of the Glenmorangie Triple Cask last night and just going to pour a couple more tonight. A very nice whisky for £25, I am pleased I got myself a bottle. Nice orange and pear notes, fudge, sweet syrupy notes also and a bit of spice, very enjoyable. |

I picked up a bottle at £25, it is pretty much how Glnmorangie described it, flavours of pear, candied orange, honeysuckle, and clove, they do usuaully turn out decent whisky, certainly worth £25. |

I'm thinking glenlivit should take glenmorangies route and give us a decent nas entry level whisky instead of the founders reserve rubbish, I'd even say the glenmorangie triple cask beats the glenlivit 12 by a good mile or two, well done glenmorangie... |

I am about quarter way through a bottle of the Glenmorangie triple cask reserve now and i am enjoying it, i will defintely pick it up again when on offer.
I agree ralphy Glenlivet could learn a lesson from Glenmorangie regards producing interesting young whiskies with a decent price tag. |
