Good morning everyone,
Quick question to everyone. I have this particular whisky bottle in my collection and was wondering what it might be worth now.
The bottle is sealed. The cork is in good shape. I left the bottle in a horizontal position for 24 hours and there is no sign of leakage.
A picture of this bottle can be found on whiskybase
Thanks for the help

A bottle like this would be hard to put a price on, it would all depend on the bidders on the day if it was to go to auction. The whisky auction website such as Whisky Auctioneer or Scotch Whisky Auctions would be able to advise you regards a reserve price. Do let us know what it goes for if you do sell it or get a valuation. I wouldnt like to hazard a guess and mislead you then you sell it for that price then find you could have got a lot more. |

Good morning,
Dear Woodhill,
What you are saying makes sense to me, thank you kindly for your advice. I will probably put this bottle up for auction at scotchwhiskyauctions next month and see what the outcome is.
Kind regards |

Hello everyone,
Just to let you know, the bottle has been inspected and approved by the auction house and will be put up for sale at the next auction at Scotchwhiskyauction.
As mentioned, it is very difficult to price this particular bottle of whisky as it is very rare in the whisky market.
The initial pricing for this bottle has been set between the 4th and 5th figures. But surely the whisky collectors' market will verify the true value of this bottle. There will be no reserve price.
Thanks |
