Was asked to try this recently and I've never before , so I was quite surprised how I enjoyed it, touch of rawness but didn't offend me one bit , the fruit is open and fresh , almost speyside fruit , vanilla is present but light with just a trail of smoke , just wanted to see what you all thought? Might have to try the 12 now . For the new people just dipping there toes hey why not .

I do enjoy Loch Lomonds range 10, 12 18 their peated Inchmoan and their single grain which is more like a single malt, all worth exploring IMO.

Like DanO I have enjoyed the bottles I have had Ralfy, and I reckon even better things are to come from this distillery.

Definitely worth exploring as Dan says..

I was looking at the Loch Lomond 10 a few months ago and was going to buy it, but at 40% I decided against it. I have enjoyed the few expressions of LL I have had though. Doe sit feel thin at 40%?

I've had thinner 40s that's for sure, I do get your point on whisky at 40% but let's say it's better than some at that ,

Thanks Ralfy, I will keep an eye on prices here. It went back up from the low it was at a couple of months ago.
