Price need not be taken into account. This is not about the best value 12 yr old single malt… this is simply your favourite. My answer will change from one day to another, but for me it’s Strathisla 12 (now known as Chivas Regal 12 yr single malt). Also love the Aberlour 12 bottled at 46% |

I too change favorite 12 year old whiskies but I would say Lagavulin 12 is usually among my top choices. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

I see Deanston has come up more than once. I’ve not had the pleasure, but will be investing in a bottle for sure. A good friend has been helping me through my Cotswolds stock this afternoon… for a young single malt, it blows me away every time. Keep the 12 yr belters coming ladies and gents. |
