Dear Whiskey Fellows
I’ve been given a gallon bottle of Bells (boxed) which I’m trying to age. I believe it to be 1960’s ish. I’ll include photos. Can anyone help please? How do I attach images to this antiquated forum 🤣?

If it is a valuation you are after Bells does not fetch much.

The bottle size and alcohol strength can help date a bottle to a certain extent. Does it say 1 gallon or 4.5l on the bottle and is the strength in in Proof or % ABV

It says exactly as I have wrote in the message and it also says “40%” and “4.5 litres”.

I apologise but I’m not sure how to add photos to a hosting site; which site?

It is not a 1960's bottle it is minimum a 1980's and could be as late 1990's bottle.
it is worth roughly £100 at a decent auction.
