If you had a chance to work at a distillery would you? then if you would but it meant moving would you still?

As much as as i love whisky i am happy in my job so it wouldnt be a consideration for me no matter how interesting it could be. I wonder if you have been tempted by a job offer in a distillery DillyT.

Interesting it might be but many distilleries are one man per shift, sitting at a computer screen much of the time so can be quite isolating. Even if not automated, can be pretty stressful particularly if the processes are on different levels. Certainly keep you fit!
Then of course, the shift patterns. Many struggle with that.
So its a no from me 😁.

Kind of.. I have seen that there are a few distilleries around the UK looking for staff. They are mainly as they say front of house were you are doing the tours but also helping with all the other jobs apart from the distilling..

So Yes I am playing with the idea of trying my hand.. manly as I have been on so many distillery tours and whisky tastings I know could do my own.
