With the likes of Port Ellen, Brora and Rosebank re-opening for production, do people think that this will have an effect on the price of vintage bottlings (ie, those from the 1970's and 1980's) which are currently on sale?
Do people think that the "new" versions will be a match for the older bottlings? Will the distillers be hoping that their whiskies will sell due to the nostalgic idea of how these whiskies used to taste?
Or, will it simply be a case of older vintages always commanding higher premiums? |

Time will tell regards the quality of the new bottlings which will come from the new Port Ellen, Brora and Rosebank distilleries, regards the old bottlings i think they will always demand a big price. |

I agree with you Mark. Cheers. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."
