Good evening there!

I don't wanna buy samples or bottles that I would be disappointed with, but I am looking for something well aged and smooth (15-18 yr) scotch, even 21-25 yr old if the price is reasonable.

I'm moslty into well balanced bourbon and sherry, not much into smoke unless it's very faint. 0-20 ppm.

Any clues?

Glendronach is good value but more on the sherried side. Deanston is a favourite on the more bourbon influenced end (at least the 12, less experience with the older Deanstons). Bunnahabhain is a great pick too (Bunnahabhain 28 by Wemyss Malts at GBP 150 at the moment!)

On the (slightly) peated side - I'm a big fan of Highland Park - one of the most balanced whiskies, in my opinion. Or Springbank 15?

Tried Bunna 12 and 18, wasn't impressed.. though the 18 is better.

Looking into SB 15 at the moment, ralfy gives it 91 points. Horst really likes it, 88 ~ avg on whiskybase.

Looks like a winner.

Never tried that one but I gotta admire your signature Laughing

Not 100% though, needed more sherry.
