Hi all, Has anyone got a bottle of 50 year old malt they looking to sell ? A friend has asked me to help him find a bottle for a 50th birthday gift. He may consider a blended whisky but ideally a malt would be preferred. Please let me know what you have where you are based and the lowest price you would accept.. I'm in central scotland but can easily travel within reason. Thanks

50yr Malt is BIG money. What's the budget? Master of Malt have a nice looking Glen Mhor just under £5k.

I had the Boutique-y 50yr Blend and it was delicious.

Whisky Barrel had a 50yr Strathclyde Grain for sensible money, but I think there was a price hike recently.

Might be easier / more cost effective / higher quality to find a birth year whisky?

Boutique-y Whisky did a 50cl bottle of a 50yo a few years back and does pop up from time to time at auction. I too tried a sample and it was definitely decent.
