I have been offered a cask of Croftengea (coming up to 15 years now) and I want to private bottle this for some of my MBA batchmates as a legacy commemorative thing!

Is this Scotch worth buying into - as I heard Croftengea from LL distillers is no more available so making it a bit rare.

Croftengea is still reasonably available as far as I can tell. I've had a couple. Quite a light, heathery/floral style of peat.

Whether a cask is worth it to you would depend on your taste preferences. Croftengea isn't widely sought out and doesn't perform too well at auction.
