In these strange times it is good to hear some positive news for the future and that is exactly what this is, today it was unveiled that Stirling is inline to benefit from a £15 million investment pending the approval of a planning application for the Wolfcraig Distillery and visitor experience near Stirling which will have a output capacity of 1.5 million litres of spirit per year.

Wolfcraig Distillery has announced that they have appointed Richard Paterson as its Master Blender,Richard will take on the role alongside his continuing commitments with Whyte &Mackay with whom he recently celebrated his 50th anniversary.

As you point out William it is good to see the investment in Scotland and jobs, particularly during these Covid times.
Surely there should be enough talent behind Wolfcraig to produce something good and no doubt we will see some colourful marketing when they start to release some young Wolfcraig whisky in a few years time, something like finished in the finest 50 year old sherry casks. |
