|
|
G'day,
For many years, I've had my eye on the gold label bullion bottle and bullion pack (seems to also go under the name 'character pack").
Finally, I was able to purchase a bottle with the bullion pack from a private collection.
See here for a listing/picture: https://www.nicks.com.au/johnnie-walker-gold-label-reserve-limited-edition-bullion-bottle-700ml-with-bullion-pack
I am trying to find more information on this particular release as I am unable to find any info on them.
Where was it released?
when was it released?
How many bottles?
any particular story behind it?
etc
if anyone could help, it would be appreciated.
thank you |

From memory the Johnnie Walker Gold Label 18 year old was first launched in travel retail in 2011, this was replaced by the Johnnie Walker Platinum Label 18 year old in 2012. Then in 2012/2013 Johnnie Walker launched a no age statement Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve which initially launched in a limited edition gold wrapped bottle, in fact there was a series of limited edition gold wrapped bottles such as this one here http://www.scotchmaltwhisky.co.uk/johnniewalkergoldlabeltravel.htm |

Thank you for the response.
I apologise if I asked incorrectly,I am looking for the info the on the bullion pack, that's the gold frame or bottle holder for this particular release and not the bottle.
I already have the gold bullion bottle on it's own, centenary blend and ultimate 18 of the gold label releases as well.
But its more about the bottle holder. |
