Yeah, we are going up on the Thursday evening, we have 2/3 events booked for each day, leave Monday late morning. 8 of us in our group
The website was a complete shambles went it finally went live, it has now been fixed.
You can still get tickets on the Sunday with GlenAllachie at the Mashtun, it should be fun with Karen and it's £25.
The "Scottish Aperitivo Hour" at Craigellachie is free and they bring great drams, Fri/Sat 6pm.
The Dufftown Whisky fair is a must for us every year, £20, we are going Saturday early session.
Dave PM me if you have any questions or want to meet up for a dram, we are based in Craigellachie during the festival. _________________ You can't push anyone up the ladder unless he is ready to climb himself. |

My plan is Wednesday to Friday.... however Glenfiddich and Balvenie have closed the visitor centre and tours due to the fear/threat of coronavirus for the foreseeable. Others may follow.... but do hope the reopen before the festival. |

If they've closed their doors because of the virus, I don't see how they will re-open before May tbh, these are the very early days of the vrus threat here in the UK and by the start of May we will probably be where Italy is now. Scary times and I do wonder what will happen with festivals? Will tickets be refunded? I really hope no longstanding festivals that rely on ticket sales to fund the following year go under because of the outbreak and cancellations.
I would strongly advise anyone planning a festival visit anywhere in the UK beyond May to rethink that decision. |

Many of the distilleries now closed to the public come Friday 13th March. Did hear that the distilleries are still committed to the festival, doors reopening for it. However, in the last week a lot of change has happened with Covoid-19, anyones guess to end of April-May.
Tickets for events are sold by he distillery, I predict a rearranged festival later in the year.. where tickets will be transferred or refunded (I'd hope). |
