If you have the car and time, then head to Ardnamurchan.
Ben Nevis or Oban maybe easier to get to, but don't have the same rep for visits.
Also depends which direction you're travelling from - you may pass some good ones. _________________ Inverness Whisky

I enjoyed touring Ben Nevis in 2019. The distillery is situated in a nice open area and many of the guides are locals with family ties to the industry . _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

If you are travelling North up the A9? North of Perth you'll be passing
Aberfeldy: Dewars which is 15 mins off A9. You will pass Pitlochry: Blair Atholl and Edradour, 5 mins off A9. Or stop at Dalwhinnie, bang on route, 0 minutes away, before onwards to Fort William.
Lindores Abbey 15 mins east of Perth on A90 is the spiritual home of whisky. |
