Got this in my stocking this year so thought I would let you know what I thought of it.
To start with I fall into the like catagory for Ralfy as I am aware that he is a bit 'marmite' so to speak.
I only mention this as I am probably a touch biased, and to be honest if you find his reviews irritating, then I would avoid wasting your money and time on this publication. Or reading this for that matter.
On the whole I enjoyed this book and it is written very much as Ralfy speaks, so keeping his style throughout.
The content is as you would expect, really giving the reader a closer look at some of the private world of Ralfy from his Glasgow beginnings to his current location on the isle of man. Rather than a book about whisky this is really an insight into his personal journey with the drink, interspersed with interesting characters and anecdotes along the way.
If you like him then I would definitely get a copy. |
