Hi
I have just been enjoying reading through the forum this lunch time. I dont really see premium blended whisky mention much and I wondered what you may think are the best premium Scotch whisky you can get.

Ballantines have a fantastic premium range and is my first choice of premium blended whisky. I have had the pleasure of the Ballantines 17, 21 and the 30 year old and all of them were superb especially the 30 year old. There is also a Ballantines Limited which i havent had but is supposed to be very good also.
I would be interested to know if anyone has had the Whyte & Mackay 30 year old or 40 year old.

I have tasted both the Whyte & Mackay 30 & 40 year old and they are both excellent especially the 40. If you are planning to treat yourself you will not be disappointed with the W & M 40 year old.

Hi Yoman
I have had a taste of the W & M 40 and it and i have to say it is superb, if you like blends then this is the Rolls Royce of blended whisky. I warn you, once you have it you will want more. Well done to Richard Paterson at W & M for creating this.
