Went in again this lunchtime and still not available. Accosted the store manager who suspects it will be out Thursday as they have had the gin delivery in and whisky next.
Still not convinced but we will see

Right peeps a little heads up.

If you order the 25 yr old and also try to add the 12 yr old Irish it won't let you check out as it's 6 bottles minimum. However it will let you order the 25 as a single item, as the others confirmed, with free delivery.

WHY? Anyone work there as it seems bonkers to me. 😡

No wonder Aldi sell out of their Xmas spirits so fast if they're heavily encouraging drinkers to order in bulk on their website days before the products actually hit the store. At least the Glen Marnoch can be ordered in single units, but alas the Glen Marnoch is the one whiskey they're selling that I'm not really interested in right now (depends heavily on what feedback is like).

I have visited three stores today in the West midlands, All had the Glen Marnoch and Irish 12 reserve out on the shelves. I purchased two Irish, not yet opened.

I bought a bottle of the Glen Marnoch 25 Year Old via the website last night, and was surprised that I didn't need to buy an additional five bottles of wine / spirits to have it delivered (as per their usual delivery policy).

If only their delivery policy was the same for the Napoleon 32 Year Old brandy though (which I still haven't seen in store)...

Which stores were they Bob? My locals are the Willenhal, Bentley Bridge, and Wednesbury stores.

Same question here. Wondering if we're looking at a Bushmills or something else? Do we know what the barrels were?

I'm thinking of getting two bottles of the Irish reserve online and adding 4 bottles of amaretto for a fiver and then going to my local store with the 4 bottles of amaretto and returning them . Do you think that's a runner? Edit: I decided to go with that, so ordered 2 Irish and will return the other 4 bottles within the 14 days.
