Jim's top 3 selections for the 2020 top whiskies of the world awards are out now. All three are bourbons and these are probably not really or readily available other than in select USA markets. The top winner is discontinued. All comments welcome? What do you think?

It is quite amazing that year on year he type of whisky he finds the best are completely different in style.
I have had plenty of BTAC offerings, they ain`t that good, so not sure what he is seeing in them?

IMO there is marketing and whisky politics behind the headline grabbing winning whiskies, don't get me wrong I still buy the Whisky Bible every couple of years but often find that the many of the headline number of new whiskies tasted and added to the latest edition are obscure limited editions that are no longer available which is of no use to anyone and some generally available standard core range domestic and travel retail expressions are either missing, need revisited or has a useless review telling me little or nothing about the whisky.
