Very quick one re Aultmore 25, one of my favourite drams? I note that the bottle I have and I think every other bottle I've seen on auction sites or online says 'Batch 41'. Were there 40 batches before this and are there any after 41? I suspect not but have never got to the bottom of it. Any idea on number of bottles produced? Cheers! _________________ Life is all about the scran. |

Good question, it has not been around that long so I doubt they are up to batch 41, unless they have bottled different batches for different markets, but that is just me taking a guess. |

It was only launched in 2014 so it is hard to believe they are up to batch 41, perhaps Innes has hit the nail on the head and they have done small batches for different markets throughout the world. |

I believe even when it first launched it said batch 41 on the bottle, I couldn't tell you why. |

Yeah - something I’ve always wondered for all the reasons you’ve mentioned! Would love to know if it’s a longterm standard bottling. _________________ Life is all about the scran. |

Maybe it is just another selling gimmick to lead people to think it is just a long standing/popular bottling with more provenance? |

Or the batch is correct but previous batches were used in Dewar's premium bottlings. This 25 is a dram I'd like to try. Do enjoy an Aultmore dram! |
