Hi All
New to site, and to be honest, not a whisky drinker. I've been given two bottles of single malt, which I want to sell. I have no idea on price for 1 of the bottles, and have no idea where to sell. Can anyone help with a current valuation on my two bottles, as follows:
Bottle 1
The Glendronach Single Malt Scotch Whisky. 12 year old. 750 ml bottle. 40%. I've seen this bottle on the internet ranging from £140 to £500. The box, packaging and labels all appear the same.
Bottle 2
Glenmorangie Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky. 10 year old. 750 ml bottle. 40%.
Both bottles are in their original cardboard packaging.

The value depends a lot on when your bottles are from - if they are from the 1980s i would say the Glendronach would be around £140 -£200 and the Glenmorangie about £70 - £100 That is only a guess as i am not at all sure what bottles you have exactly. I suggest looking in The Whisky Exchange to see if they have any similar as they are a good guide to the shop value of whisky.
These are the prices you may have to pay for these bottles in a shop but rememeber the shop adds duty/taxes and the shop markup as they need to make a profit so in a private sale i would say you could almost half these prices.
