Whisky fans in and around Aberdeen or indeed anyone with plans to visit the granite city will be pleased to hear that the first premium whisky lounge has launched in the city, located within Sandman Signature Aberdeen Hotel, it offers whisky connoisseurs a new place to drink the water of life in the heart of Aberdeen city centre.

The photo of the whisky lounge exudes a library-like calming comfort zone with bottles not books. Too bad its so far away from my location across the pond.

Hi Murray I received a press release today telling me that the lounge officially launched last night where there was Masterclasses from leading brands such as Laphroaig and Glenfiddich which were served alongside a selection of complementing grazing boards, providing an insight into what the new venue brings to the city.

Certainly a place to keep in mind if visiting Aberdeen.
