Midleton has unveiled the next chapter in their virgin Irish oak finish collection, Midleton Dair Ghaelach Bluebell Forest Edition. I am sure those of you who had the pleasure of the outstanding Grinsell’s Wood release will be keen to try this new batch of virgin Irish oak finished pot still whiskey.

I had a few drams of this from a good Irish friends bottle and it is very very good, but don't tell him I said that as we have a bit of a long running, should I say discussion, about whether Scotland or Ireland produce the best whisky. Obviously Scotland but this is not too far off Scottish quality  |
