The outstanding Midleton Dair Ghaelach has impressed judges at the Beverage Testing Institute awards picking up a Platinum medal – BTI’s highest honour. A well deserved award, it is a whiskey we rarely hear mentioned, probably due to its limited availability and price, but in my humble opinion it is amongst the best Irish single pot still whiskeys ever to be released.
The folks at Midleton also picked up a haul of gold medal awards for their other pot still whiskey's

| I have only had two bottles of Midleton Dair Ghaelach, Tree 3 and Tree 7, both were brilliant but so it should be considering its price. I still have about quarter of a bottle of Tree 7 |
