Hi Everyone

I’m new here and new to whiskey collecting.
I have inherited a small collection from my father-in- law which includes a Macallan 1966 18 year old and a 21 year old Springbank Campbeltown.
The Macallan’s box is a bit battered and the fill is just below the neck. However, the Springbank is in good condition. Could anyone offer advice on if these two are valuable? A quck serach seem to suggest they might be but I have no idea how to check.

Thanks

Anything pre-90's Macallan wise is selling like hotcakes at auctions at the moment. Take a look at the following sites and I'm sure you'll get an idea what a 1966 is going for:
Scotch Whisky Auctions
Whisky Hammer
Just Whisky
Whisky Auctioneer

Not so sure how Springbank prices are holding up but again, look at the auctions.

If in good condition the Macallan 18 year old 1966 would probably fetch at least £2000 at auction but it is difficult to value it with a damaged box and low fill, I would say put it into auction and don't set the reserve too high. You can see some recent examples here https://www.scotchwhiskyauctions.com/auctions/search/?q=macallan+1966&area=&sort=mostrecent&order=asc&perpage=40

The Springbank 21 year old value depends on which bottling you have, older bottlings can fetch £500 - £600

Thanks everyone for the advice. How do I tell what bottling it is?
