Limited edition 2014 Kidalton on sale direct from the Ardbeg Distillery shop for £120 plus £8.50 delivery to UK mainland. On sale elsewhere for over twice the price. Thought it was a good price to add a limited release Ardbeg to one's collection. |

Sounds almost too good! Can anyone see a catch in generously priced Ardbeg? |

I visited the distillery three months ago and picked a bottle up for £140 after i googled it and seen places selling for £300 but i also visited laphroaig where i picked up a bottle 10 yer old cask strength for £45 and 18 year old for £80 these also were selling for more than double on various websites
i dont think theres a catch i just think they sell their whisky for a price suits every one |

I had a funeral to attend this afternoon at Knockando church, based on your post I called in to the Aberlour shop at the distillery and picked up a bottle of 18 year Old for £53.
Cheers |
