The Scotch Malt Whisky Forum provides this section of the forum as a courtesy for forum members to exchange whisky samples. The Scotch Malt Whisky Forum makes no warranty as to what is being offered for exchange on this forum. It is forum members responsibility to satisfy themselves that all is good with any whisky exchange.

Forum members are advised to use common sense and to come to a clear agreement about the details of any exchange, such as details of the whisky samples to be exchanged, sample size, postal method (do you require proof of postage) or collection arrangements.

It is not permitted to sell any samples on the forum.

To best highlight the whiskies which you wish to exchange we suggest that each member lists the whiskies they wish to exchange in their own "Topic"

i.e..William's Whisky Exchange Samples

or if you wish, you can post a new Topic for each individual whisky you wish to exchange, using the whisky name as the Topic subject

i.e. Highland Park 30 Year Old Whisky Exchange

Regarding the value of any samples you wish to offer for exchange I would suggest that members use the current prices the whiskies are selling for in specialist whisky shops such as Master of Malt Obviously not every whisky is still available, therefore you would have to come to an agreement.

From experience, having received many whisky samples in the post over the years, no matter how tight you think you have put a lid on a bottle they can sometimes come loose and leak, I would recommend sealing the lid using Parafim or even a bit of sellotape.

Be sure to update your posts to let others know if a whisky sample is no longer available.

There's no bad whisky. Just good whisky and better whisky.
