Hi everyone my name is Gustavo Woltmann and I am working as an assistant in a small publishers office. Just want to know from whiskey experts here, what is the best whiskey in Asia?
Do you mean what is the best whisky produced in Asia?
Also the question of what is the best whisky is a question of individual taste, I am sure we could point you to some very good must try whiskies and various price points.

That is actually a difficult question in terms of "what is the best whisky in Asia?" A better inquiry might be what are the best whiskies in Asia. East Asia of course includes Japan & Taiwan while South Asia includes India. Japan has a cornucopia of excellent single malts and blends and India has done wonderfully with Amrut and John Distilleries. Taiwan has Kavalan. Japan has a cornucopia of whisky distilleries. Jim Murray picks Kavalan Solist Moscatel as Asian Whisky of the World 2017. Yamazaki Sherry cask took Japanese Whisky of the year. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."
