Here are my taste notes from the event last night for Glenlivet Nadurra Oloroso 60.3% abv.
Color: Dark Amber
Nose: Initial prune nectar bursting forth with sweets and pastry galore including Christmas cake, plum pudding, mince meat pie, coffee roll cake and buckwheat honey.
Taste: Full-bodied, creamy smooth, butterscotch, cookies & cream with Nutella hues.
Finish: Long, dark fruit, berry and citrus jams, chocolate infused with cherry cream and a centered maraschino. Very late After Eight chocolate mints.
Comments: This one definitely gives you a bang for your buck as they say. A real died in the wool dessert dram in my opinion.
Score: 88 _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

Cheers for your thought on this. I do like this, considering its strength and price I think it is a decent enough dram for your money. I would rate it about the same. |
