I visited Bladnoch distillery this weekend in Wigtown in the borders of Scotland. A lovely wee old distillery in a beautiful location beside the River Bladnoch. I would recommend a wee trip down there this summer to anyone. You will be made very welcome.

I agree a beautiful location and a nice drive down in the summer and not too far if you are in the Central belt of Scotland.

Lovely distillery to visit and outstanding whisky. Plus many 'forum bottlings' are available to purchase

Just re visited bladnoch, it's such a beautiful place, very friendly, and fine Whisky, bought the usual armful of bottles Laughing .. And already planning my next visit in a few months.. Just wish they would fire those stills up again....

I heard they havent been producing at Bladnoch, whats the story with that, seems crazy to me, is it a cash flow problem or something?

Not fully sure but I think it's a family issue... But whatever the reason it's a real shame !!

Yes i had heard they hadnt been producing due to due to family problems, it is a shame as you say sorren
